Gayle Defranceski

I founded Joburg Conferences in 2005 but have been in this industry for the past twenty years.  Previously, I was the Marketing Manager of the Carlton Hotel.

I then joined a Company called Venue Finders which at the time consisted of two people and grew that Company up until we had a staff compliment of seventeen people. I then decided to start Joburg Conferences. I am passionate about this industry and very proud to have been one of the founding members of the PCO Alliance that was started as a “watch dog” for our industry.

Jolene Aucamp

I started in this industry in 2007 and have experience in sales, marketing and coordinating. I joined Joburg Conferences in 2013. As far as work goes, I love the adrenalin rush of last minute bookings and feel that every confirmation is like the first confirmation.

When clients are satisfied, there is no better feeling. What I love about Joburg Conferences is that I wake up every morning and get ready to see friends and family, who just like me, work hard and play hard as well.

From my very first day as a hotel receptionist I knew that the hospitality Industry was for me. It was a few years later when I started working in the conference and events department that I realized I had found my rightful place within the industry.

I started with Joburg Conferences in 2008 and the experience has truly opened my eyes; I no longer work for one hotel, but rather, hundreds of them all at once. In my free time, I love nothing more than sitting quietly and relaxing in the bushveld surrounded by nature.

Kirsty Defranceski

I  am a confident, friendly & enthusiastic person who has a passion for the hospitality industry. I have experience in marketing & sales and also have a certificate in Project Management. I love to travel & visit new exciting places. I’ve lived in London, visited Thailand and recently took a ‘’quick’’ trip through Europe.

The thing about Joburg Conferences is that it’s more about being part of a family of conference organisers, rather than just a team. We all love what we do, and we constantly do our best to make the client happy.

Establishing Member of the PCO Alliance

The PCO ALLIANCE NETWORK has set high standards in the Event Management sector of the hospitality industry and is recognized as a professional Alliance by the majority of Hotel Groups, independent Hotels and Venues and Affiliated Event Suppliers. They are keen to work with the group as preferred suppliers and therefore regularly host the members in order to showcase their facilities and services, thus keeping members up-to-date at all times.
